My first review goes to one of my favorites, Bold Rock’s IPA (India Pressed Apple). At just 140 calories and 13g of sugar, enjoy a few with no headache. Like me, Bold Rock has homes in Virginia and North Carolina with beautiful views like this overlook on Crowder’s Mountain.
Bold Rock IPA came out towards the end of my college years at the University of Virginia. Not only could I enjoy it legally at that point, but it was frequently on tap at my favorite bar – the Virginian. The dry, hoppy taste takes me back to those college nights standing on booths, singing “Proud to Be An American.”
The taste and the nostalgia of course leads to a perfect score for this Bold Rock flavor, but it definitely leans toward those that prefer a drier cider. If you know you like your cider on the sweeter side, I’d recommend Bold Rock’s Virginia or Carolina Apple. View the rest of Bold Rock’s Core and Seasonal products here: https://boldrock.com/ciders/
